Welcome to the STEM and Branch Academy: a wonderful Place to Grow! SABA is a place-based, hands-on educational adventure for our student learners. We emphasize STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) which is the importance of hands-on learning with real-world applications en route to learning success. We also integrate music, art, social studies, writing and play.
The SABA way stresses educational confidence building in order to educate the Whole Child (being healthy, safe, engaged, supported and challenged) but also a Social-Emotional emphasis (self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making) to help students achieve their best self.
STEM and Branch Winter Semester at Ensley Nature Preserve in Sand Lake. Classes will be held on Fridays from 10:00-2:00,. New topics including hands-on STEM projects and place-based outdoor educational fun and adventure continuing from the fall of 2021 and winter of 2022. Email Miss Jen at geniejud@yahoo.com.
