What do we do in SPACEventure? Whether we are studying the Solar System, Planets, Astronaut training, Constellations, Exploration or Science, Propulsion, Acceleration, Construction, Energy, SPACEventure is always a blast!

S[ACEventure 2024: Orbital Mission

With only four weeks slated for the East Oakview SPACEventure BASE, this crew of astronauts had to come together quickly and efficiently in order to successfully complete 2024 Orbital Mission. SPACEventure 2024 included Science, Propulsion, Acceleration, Construction, and Energy. Step 1: Astronaut Team-docking, Step 2 Liftoff Challenge, Step 3 Experiments in Space, Step 4 Earth Landing. What a fabulous adventure in SPACE!

SPACEventure 2023: Plant the Moon Challenge

SPACEventure received a grant from Michigan Space Grant Consortium (a NASA funded training program) to enter the Institute of Competition Sciences: Plant the Moon Challenge! We researched for, experimented with, and helped NASA scientists learn the best lunar crop conditions on the moon by completing our own Plant the Moon team project, along with all of our other out-of-this-world SPACEventure themes! It was a once-in-a-lifetime SPACEventure!

Launching SPACEventure 2021 and 2022

SPACEventure is a voyage through the vastness outside the Earth’s atmosphere. After teaming up with Vivify STEM’s Mission to Moon contest, the first SABA SPACEventure was launched in 2021. Students created their own mission and astronaut helmet, before learning about the science of flight, and how astronauts do their job in zero gravity! Students even worked on building their own life-size lunar base including constructing their own cooking burner, learning how to grow food in space and manipulating robot technology.
